Lady's Breeder Finding a breeder we could have confidence in was harder than we thought. After many interviews with Shih Tzu breeders we eventually were directed to Kara Ko Shih Tzus, thank God ! These folks, Betsy & Melissa, are completely dedicated to breeding the true "standard" Shih Tzu. Just a few minutes was all it took to know we finally found the place we wanted our new baby to come from. You can just feel the love, caring,& dedication flow from them. They don't just sell puppies! They make sure the pups are going to loving, caring homes. Eighteen months later we still keep in close contact with Betsy & Melissa, calling them with any concerns. We know they are always there to advise, babysit, or help with a problem. While Betsy & Melissa were baby sitting for Lady during the summer, I asked Melissa to give Lady a short haircut. When we called to check on Lady Melissa told me I would be picking up half the dog we left there because she cut off so much hair. We were a little nervous. However, we loved the look ! Now Lady continues to sport her "pajama" cut as Melissa calls it :) We love visiting them and their many affectionate Shih Tzus who live with them not in cages!
